NURS11155 Legal and Ethical Issues in Health Care

Course details

Inherent within the nursing profession are the various professional, legal and ethical standards that govern nursing practice. At the completion of this course the student will identify and apply legal and professional boundaries and standards to practice. Ethical concepts, legislation and the law are examined together with their application in the health care environment. These principles will be related to clinical activities to prepare the student for the practice environment.


Students who have satisfactorily completed NURS12148 Legal and Ethical Issues in Health Care are not required to complete this new course.
