PROP20002 Statutory Real Property Valuation

Course details

This course covers the principles and practice of property valuations undertaken for statutory acquisition, resumption or associated purposes. It considers property taxation and property rights theory as the basis from which to examine the valuation methods appropriate when rating or taxation-based valuations are undertaken. The relevant state-based legislation, court precedents and statutory procedures are examined in general and with emphasis on student location.
