Course details
In this course honours students will complete a six week placement (210 hours) of supervised professional practice. During these placements students will apply and integrate the academic concepts and professional skills, learnt throughout their courses so far, into this practical experience which will be maximally supervised. This beginning level placement will also provide the student with an opportunity to identify their own strengths and limitations. Students may be required to undertake professional practice placements away from their home town at their own expense. Additionally students will attend 48 hours of research focused seminars, workshops and library activities linked to this course. Finally students will be required to complete a brief targeted literature review based on their research topic.
