Course details

Infants, children and adolescents are a unique group of individuals who have ever-changing and complex needs different to those of adult patients and clients. This course will enable students to provide nursing care to infants, children and adolescents with particular regard to the specific needs of this developmental group. Concepts of safety and health promotion, along with related legal and ethical issues, will be explored in this course.
