SAFE20008 Safety Science Thesis 1

Course details

This course is the first course in the thesis suite of courses. Throughout the course students learn about: formulation of research questions and hypotheses, ethics in research and the design of research studies. Students work through online materials and contribute to discussion forums. Assessment is based around online activities and research carried out in the courses, Thesis 2 and Thesis 3. To enrol in this course, students will be required to have a Distinction average or higher in the first six courses of the Master of Safety Science program and permission of the Head of Program.
