PSIO11003 Foundations of Health Professional Practice 2

Course details

In this course a case-based learning model will be used to develop core health professional practice skills, including posture and movement analysis, assessment of joint movement, muscle strength and length, and neurological tests. Case studies will be drawn from locally important contexts such as the mining industry and beef production. Professional and individual boundaries of scope of practice and the different health professional roles will be explored.Occupational health and safety issues relevant to the profession will also be presented.
