Course details
Students who successfully complete this course will understand and be able to explain the various aspects of Shariżah wealth planning and management including allocation, protection, and estate and retirement planning issues. They will be able to compare and contrast Islamic and Western concepts of wealth planning and management; analyse and interpret contemporary academic and popular media commentary on Islamic wealth planning and management; reflect upon Islamic wealth planning and management issues in the context of a Western economic setting including the relevance of ethical and professional practice; integrate theoretical and technical wealth planning and management knowledge and critically apply these to solve emerging and/or advanced problems using an ethical and professional approach in multi-cultural and multi-faith environments; and justify and communicate Islamic wealth planning and management advice and ideas in complex collaborative contexts.
