ALLH11001 Introduction to Allied Health Practice

Course details

On successful completion of this course students will be able to define the role of the allied health professional and their practice contexts. Additionally, this course will provide students with foundational knowledge about the impact of living with an illness, injury or disability as it relates to physical, emotional and social functioning. Students will learn about the pragmatic and emotional adaptation processes involved. Students will be introduced to the use of an internationally accepted health care model which facilitates participation in wider society.
