MEDI12005 Science and Instrumentation 2

Course details

This course builds on Science and Instrumentation 1 and covers the components of the general X-ray equipment and accessories needed to produce an accurate image. Students will learn the main features of various types of digital equipment. Fluoroscopy and image intensification are also included. Some special techniques are introduced and will be re-enforced in the practical setting. A digital radiological laboratory and imaging workstations will allow for hands on, practical and simulated experiential learning.
