NURS11146 Professional Nursing Identity

Course details

This course introduces the student to the role and scope of the nurse in contemporary health. Students will have the opportunity to discuss social, political and economic factors that have influenced the evolution of the nursing profession. This course will explore factors that have influenced the image and status of nursing throughout history. Students will begin to reflect on the values of the nursing profession and begin to appreciate the significance of scholarship in nursing.
