PODI12009 Podiatry Clinical Practice 1

Course details

The students will develop and refine their knowledge, skills and abilities regarding podiatric patient history, assessment and non high risk routine care including basic wound care. A number of diagnostic fields will be taken into account such as radiography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), ultrasound, Doppler and bone density. Students will have opportunity to apply theory learnt and evidence based practice to aid in diagnosis and management under the guidance of clinical supervision. Students will work predominantly with geriatric patients in the clinical setting.
