Course details

This course is offered to students to develop technical, creative and performance skills within the context of the presentation of a publicly performed theatrical work. Students will also be introduced to the functioning of the theatre as an institution and will undertake a study of the various roles of the people who work in theatre and their responsibilities. Students will learn basic theatre safety including fire evacuation and first aid awareness. This course aims to develop the highest possible interpretative and executant ability in the performance of the repertoire selected for this course. Each succeeding course in Production will require students to demonstrate a greater degree of interpretative and executant skill development.
