SPCH21004 Paediatric Disorders of the Ear, Nose and Throat

Course details

This course introduces students to a range of paediatric disorders of the ear, nose and throat. It examines the description, assessment and diagnosis of hearing and voice impairment along with cleft palate and craniofacial disorders in early childhood. The impact of paediatric disorders of the ear, nose and throat are examined in the context of educational achievement, activity and participation. The students will also investigate genetic neurodegenerative, developmental, movement and acquired speech production disorders in the context of early childhood.
