HLTH11027 Foundations of Health

Course details

On successful completion of this course students should be able to reflect on the historical evolution of health as a concept and discuss key milestones in the conceptualisation of health over the past 200 years. They will also analyse the social, cultural, political and economic determinants of health. Students will develop skills in locating and evaluating relevant information from reputed sources and demonstrate appropriate referencing in academic writing.
