If you have any questions about the program structure please consult your Program Advisor .
PLEASE NOTE:
* There is a compulsory 5 day residential school for ENEG11001 Engineering Skills 1 held during Week One of Term1. Non attendance may result in forced withdrawal from the course.
Full Time Plan:
All full time students enrol in a common first year and then select a specialist stream. New students must complete:
Course Code | Course Name |
---|---|
Year 1 - T1 | |
ENEG11001 | Engineering Skills 1 * |
MATH11218 | Engineering Foundation Mathematics |
PHYS11184 | Engineering Physics A |
Year 1 - T2 | |
ENEG11002 | Engineering Skills 2 |
MATH11219 | Engineering Mathematics |
PHYS11185 | Engineering Physics B |
Students will then enrol in the prescribed courses for a specialist plan. 4 plans are offered: civil, electrical, mechanical and mining engineering.
- See More details for information on enrolling into your Project courses ENEG14003 Engineering Project Planning and ENEG14005 Engineering Project Planning.

After successfully completing the first two years of study, students then enrol and transfer their course credits to the University of Queensland to complete their final two years of study in mining engineering. Because of this partnership, the mining specialisation is not able to accept international students through CRICOS.
Please note: that University of Queensland does not offer its courses in distance mode so students beginning this program plan will need to be physically located in Brisbane for the final two years of their study.
