About Creative Enterprise (Specialisation)

The overall aim of the Master of Creative Enterprise (Specialisation) is to provide an award that meets the needs of creative industry professionals working in a post 'New Economy' where the nature of the knowledge and performance are being transformed. Creativity has become a driving force of economic growth. The ability to compete and prosper in the global economy goes beyond trade in goods and services and flows of capital and investment. Instead, it increasingly turns on the ability of companies, regions, and nations to attract, retain and develop creative people.

Creative Practice Specialisation (Noosa & Distance Education only)

This specialisation is aimed primarily at creative and performing arts practitioners wishing to extend their capacity to operate in an increasingly interdisciplinary, multi-art form and creative enterprise/industries-based professional context. Students in this specialisation will design, research and produce new works of art, or develop new approaches to arts practice in the creative industries, apply new knowledge to their own specialist field/s.
