Career Opportunities

Knowledge gained and appreciation of basic techniques will support employment as an assistant in chiropractic practice. The Bachelor of Science (Chiropractic) also prepare students for Masters programs and subsequent CBA (Chiropractic Board of Australia) registration.

Science (Chiropractic)

The Bachelor of Science (Chiropractic) develops clinical skills in the diagnosis and management of patients presenting for care. Within a patient-centered learning environment students will develop a range of spinal and patient assessment procedures and basic therapeutic approaches to common musculoskeletal presentations such as low back pain, neck and shoulder pain, and headache. Students will learn to manage patients from a wellness perspective to help them achieve their optimal well-being and will incorporate nutrition, movement as in walking and exercise, and other lifestyle adaptations. Students will learn the history, philosophy, principles and theories of chiropractic and relevant chiropractic psychomotor skills integrated with a knowledge of basic science. Practical skills will be developed within Australia's newest, state-of-the-art chiropractic learning environment, supported by work-integrated learning each term in approved clinics Australia-wide.
