BIOL12109 Technology and Instrumentation

Course details

This course examines new technologies and innovative practices used in sustainable agricultural production, food processing and environmental analysis. It covers the use of technology to facilitate production efficiency, to undertake product and process monitoring, and for research and analysis. Students will study current practices including methodologies and technologies for analysing environmental and food composition characteristics, and examine information from the current agricultural science literature to identify emerging technology trends.
Distance education students will be required to attend a residential school.
