MDWF20007 Complex Midwifery Practice

Course details

The purpose of this course is to allow students to consolidate knowledge and skills acquired throughout the program and demonstrate higher-level learning in a manner conducive to the identification of risk factors that may present during childbearing. The aim is to enable students to draw distinction in their scope of practice between normal and complex childbirth and examine the underlying principles and processes for collaboration and consultation within the multidisciplinary team.
There is a 5-day compulsory residential school attached to this course.
