Course details

This course aims to develop a knowledge and understanding of the materials of music derived from both the western art-music tradition and contemporary popular music styles. The course integrates music theory and aural acuity elements and covers intermediate aspects of pitch, rhythm, pulse, tempo, amplitude, articulation, expression and timbre. Students will also gain intermediate keyboard skills that relate to their musical development as singers.
