COIT12203 Workflow Analysis & Modelling

Course details

Business processes are core to an organisation and its business partners for delivering products or services to customers. This course introduces students to methodologies of business process modelling (BPM). This course provides an overview of the foundations of process modelling, process improvement and process integration. Students will use tools and techniques that model organisational processes and propose improvements to those processes. Students will learn workflow principles and how to re-design business processes to improve efficiency. This course will provide students with the necessary skills to enable them to develop a report that defines and models business processes and recommend improvements.
