COIT20235 Business Process Modelling

Course details

Business processes are core to an organisation and its business partners. This course introduces students to the concepts of business process modelling (BPM) and workflow within organisations. During the term students are required to apply tools and techniques to model organisational processes. In addition the students will evaluate current business processes and propose improvements that align with organisational strategy. This course provides students with the skills required to develop a report that: defines and models business processes; recommends improvements; and identifies potential organisational change issues.
