Course details

Students who successfully complete this course will understand and be able to describe the various aspects of Shariżah business and finance practices including Islamic jurisprudence, Shariżah audit and compliance, and Shariżah compliant contracts. They will be able to: compare and contrast Islamic and Western business and finance practices; analyse and interpret contemporary academic and popular media commentary on Islamic business and finance practices; and reflect upon Islamic business and finance issues in the context of a Western economic setting including the relevance of ethical and professional practice.
