SWHS21003 Groups and Community work in human services

Course details

In this course, students will critically review the central principles, ethics and values of professional practice in the human services when working with groups and communities. Students will engage critically with contemporary literature in these core areas of human services practice and will reflectively analyse knowledge and skills relevant to effective professional practice in these areas. Advanced understanding and skills in critical and reflective practice are developed.
