BUSN40004 International Internship for Professional Development

Course details

The course ¿International Internship for Professional Development (IIPD)¿ enables participants to engage with organisations who are able to offer experiential learning relevant to the intern¿s area of study. By offering professional development and guidance, organisations foster an intern¿s career objectives by enabling the intern to replace classroom lectures with real life experience. IIPD interns must not only actively engage in career relevant activities to educate them in the field, but are also required to submit assignments relating their experiences and professional growth, for which they can obtain academic credit from CQUniversity (6 credit-points). These internships are undertaking in countries other than the student¿s normal place of residence, thus providing an international experience in a career-relevant field.
