Course details
The aim of this student support course is to provide students with additional educational support to assist students in their understanding of the Contemporary Business Issues CPA Module and prepare them for successful outcomes in their corresponding CPA Exam. Successful revision and additional support should improve a candidate¿s success in the completion of the Contemporary Business Issues CPA Professional segment.

1. advance the development of professional values, ethics and attitudes ¿ complex, real-life scenarios will highlight ethical implications and emphasise the maxim that values, ethics and attitudes underpin all facets of the professional accountant's work
2. develop a broader awareness of the business environment ¿ the origins and effects of contemporary and emerging global issues will inform candidates' study of the segment
3. encourage an attitude of professional curiosity ¿ assumptions about major contemporary issues and how they should be addressed will be challenged
4. imbue candidates with a sense of adaptability and self-reliance ¿ extensive use will be made of interactive technologies and a significant amount of examinable learning material will be presented online
Students will also receive exam preparation advice as they prepare for their CPA Segment exam on this topic.
