SCIE11024 Science Investigation

Course details

This course provides students in their first year of Science with essential knowledge and skills in developing, conducting, and communicating theoretical and applied research. Students undertake a supervised investigation aligned with a topic predetermined by teaching staff, developing skills in the scientific approach, analytical techniques and communication in a scientific investigation. The research question will be of significance to an area associated with the Specialisation being undertaken by the student. There will be a compulsory residential school for distance education students.
