OCHS22001 Key Issues in Rail Safety

Course details

This course examines key issues in rail safety and how they apply to rail organisations. Topics include: responsibilities of a rail safety manager; monitoring and evaluating safety indicators; identifying hazards in yards and depots; identifying and managing threats to track works; managing the change process and managing fatigue. Students engage in guided online discussions based around activities and case studies that contextualise the material and provide an opportunity to examine real world problems.
