AINV20001 Principles of Accident Investigation

Course details

Students will develop expertise in the investigation and analysis of the practical aspects of contemporary accident investigations. This will include the methods of planning and preparing for investigations, safety at the accident scene, effective investigation management, accident photography, contemporary witness interviewing techniques, court procedures and the rules of evidence, role of the expert witness and effective media relations. All students are required to attend a Residential School.
