MEDI12008 Fundamentals of Radiographic Imaging

Course details

The course will provide the student with the foundation knowledge and skills needed for the safe and effective use of x-ray equipment and digital radiographic imaging systems. Students will learn basic radiographic technique and image acquisition and processing. Radiation protective practices and bioeffects are also covered. As emphasis is on application of theoretical concepts, there is a mandatory laboratory component in this course.
