LAWS23001 Shari'ah Taxation Issues

Course details

Students who successfully complete this course will understand and be able to describe and explain the taxation implications of Shari’ah financial transactions in selected Western jurisdictions, propose creative solutions to unfavourable tax outcomes for Shari’ah financial transactions, analyse and interpret contemporary academic and popular media commentary on unfavourable tax outcomes for Shari’ah financial transactions, and justify and communicate conclusions and recommendations to professional and lay audiences.
