Course details

This course introduces students to fundamental requirements elicitation for analysing and developing the requirements specification for an enterprise system. During the term students will be required to use tools and techniques that model the requirements elicitation and analysis stages of the systems¿ development. The course covers key issues that surround the implementation of an enterprise system, such as the proposal of the new system, changing business processes and organisational change. Four different perspectives will be used to examine the determination of requirements for the new system: organisational; management; user; and business analyst. This course provides students with the necessary skills to enable them to develop, model and report the product of requirements elicitations for a business enterprise system.
