Course details

This course examines general principles concerning the nature of property and real property law. Topics covered include: real and personal property, native title and Australian law, ownership, possession and title, ownership rights, law and equity, covenants, mortgages, leases, and the Torrens system. Assessment will require students to read legal materials and communicate using the style and terminology of the discipline of law.
