FINC23007 Shari'ah Financial Risk Management

Course details

Students who successfully complete this course will understand and be able to describe the principles and processes of identifying, measuring and mitigating risk in Islamic banks and financial institutions. They will be able to demonstrate how risk management principles and processes might be applied in the governance of Shari’ah financial institutions, analyse risk scenarios in the management of Shari’ah financial institutions and design appropriate risk management plans, and communicate the importance of risk management to managers and other stakeholders.
