FINC21001 Shari'ah Business & Finance

Course details

Students who successfully complete this course will understand and be able to describe the various aspects of Shari�ah business and finance practices including Islamic jurisprudence, Shari�ah audit and compliance, and Shari�ah compliant contracts. They will be able to: compare and contrast Islamic and Western business and finance practices; analyse and interpret contemporary academic and popular media commentary on Islamic business and finance practices; and reflect upon Islamic business and finance issues in the context of a Western economic setting including the relevance of ethical and professional practice.
