Program Aim
The LIFT program is designed to provide an opportunity for people who may not meet the traditional or standard requirements to gain entry into university study. LIFT acknowledges that prospective students have considerable existing skills and abilities and deserve the opportunity to study at university.
Program Structure
The program is offered externally during Term 1, 2 and 3. Students will complete one compulsory LIFT course, and any other courses needed in order to provide the student with the necessary prerequisites to commence an undergraduate degree at CQUniversity.
Students can take a number of preparatory courses which include:
- LIFT Study Skills in the Tertiary Environment (compulsory)
- LIFT Academic Writing
- LIFT Mathematics
- LIFT Mathematics Plus
- LIFT Computing Skills
- Foundation Science
- Introductory Chemistry
- Introductory Physics
- Introductory Biology
- Transitions Mathematics II
