Career Opportunities

The LIFT program provides an opportunity for people who may not meet the traditional/standard entry requirements to gain admission into university. Upon successful completion of the LIFT program, which includes required degree pre-requisites, students will be eligible to apply directly to CQUniversity. CQUniversity recognises that prospective students have considerable skills and abilities that they could transfer to University study. The LIFT program gives prospective students the pathway to build upon their strengths and formulate strategies that will help them be successful in their degree studies.

About LIFT

The LIFT program is designed for people who are initially not eligible to gain entry to university. A personalised program is put together for each student encompassing courses that will enable them to gain direct entry into their chosen degree program. Each course is studied by distance and over the set CQUniversity term period of 12 weeks. Students can choose to complete the program in one term or spread their courses across a number of terms. Students can apply for the LIFT program in terms one, two or three.
