CB58 - Master of Mental Health Nursing
Program Aim
This program will achieve a number of outcomes in the development of skills and knowledge in mental health nursing. Graduates of this program will achieve advanced knowledge and skills in preparation for specialist practice in the mental health nursing field.
Specifically they will:
- be able to organise the knowledge obtained and illustrate this in a broad range of specific practice settings
- manage the skills and knowledge required for specialisation in the mental health nursing field
- evaluate mental health nursing practice from a research and practice-based perspective
- appraise and critique contemporary issues in mental health nursing
- construct professional development activities including writing and presentation skills
