About Mental Health Nursing

CQUniversity's Master of Mental Health Nursing is ideal for Registered Nurses who are looking to gain advanced specialist qualification for roles in various health care sectors where there are people experiencing mental health issues or problems. The program will help students gain an understanding of contemporary topics and issues of relevance to all mental health clinicians, including recovery, mental health in primary care, dual diagnosis, physical treatments and psycho-social and educational interventions, and aged care mental health.  Students will also be eligible to apply for credentialing with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses.
