Graduates of the Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) can work in many different settings, including rehabilitation centres, aged care centres, community health centres, hospitals, private practice, schools, and in specialised centres helping people with hearing impairment, cerebral palsy, autism and intellectual disability.
Speech Pathology
The Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) provides students with the knowledge and skills to practice as a speech pathologist. It is a four year program offered in internal mode at Rockhampton campus. The program includes graduate attributes that foster problem solving, critical thinking, encourage a culture of lifelong learning and produce workplace ready graduates. The program will include normal communication, problem solving in the workplace, the role of speech pathologist, and healthcare in contemporary society.
