COIS23002 Electronic Crime and Digital Forensics for Businesses

Course details

This advanced level enterprise security management course provides postgraduate students with a broad business-oriented understanding of electronic crime and digital forensics. This course provides students with the knowledge foundations of digital forensics and the skills of applying digital forensics tools in an investigation of electronic criminal activities. This multi-disciplinary course covers areas of computer and Internet technology, electronic crime, digital forensics procedures and tools, methods of using digital evidence in justice, and legal issues in digital forensics. The course offers students general but practical knowledge of digital forensics thus enabling them to pursue professional careers and further study in this new marketplace.
