NURS21166 Context of Mental Health Nursing Practice

Course details

This course will equip students with the skills to critically analyse the broader social and political context that shapes and influences mental health nursing. After completing this course students should be able to describe the structure of the mental health service system; critically reflect on the legislative and other factors that impact on practice in this field; and critically reflect on the mental health nursing profession including practice settings and career structures.
