MEDI12004 Medical Imaging Clinical Course 1

Course details

Students will reinforce the radiographic procedures taught thus far by practical experience in the clinical workplace. Skills and knowledge will be applied through clinical placements within Radiology/Medical Imaging departments. Students will apply critical analysis skills to their image production and practice radiography in a safe manner with due regard to radiation and patient safety. Competency based assessments and professional performance evaluations will provide benchmarks for the performance level of the student. Critical appraisal of performance and radiographs produced will assist students to develop their skills of analysis. Students will maintain a professional manner and demonstrate a high level of interpersonal and communication skills.
