PROP20002 Statutory Real Property Valuation

Course details

This course examines the specialist approaches to real property valuation for statutory or regulatory purposes in Australia. It covers the principles and practice of property valuations undertaken for statutory acquisition, resumption or associated purposes. In addition it considers the valuation methods appropriate when rating or taxation-based valuations are undertaken. Emphasis and assessment is placed on the importance of the relevant state-bases legislation, court precedents and statutory procedures.
