Course details
This course continues on from Language and Learning External A and students should be able to apply the reading, thinking and writing skills necessary for academic purposes. Students are encouraged to apply learning strategies to writing and study. They are also encouraged to examine their own worldviews, and those of others, and to develop critical thinking skills. Students are also given the opportunity to participate in online discussion forums to support their learning. On completion of the course students should be able to plan and write an academic essay, using independent research skills.
