SOWK14007 Social Policy as Professional Practice

Course details

Students should be able to develop and validate a professional social work, social policy response to a social issue within social work and the human services.

Students should be able to display skills in the design and implementation of a specified social policy. The policy should promote social justice and should be designed to promote a potential policy driven solution to the issues presented by cultural and gender diversity where poverty, social disadvantage and disempowerment are present.
