MEDI12003 Imaging Procedures 1

Course details

On completion of this course, students should be able to practice the radiographic and clinical skills and knowledge required to perform routine radiographic images of the skeleton, including articulations and basic skull radiography. Basic chest and abdominal examinations will be included and gastro intestinal studies will be introduced. High levels of patient care and safety will be integrated into good radiographic practice. Analyse radiographs for their accuracy and quality of the image. All material learnt in this course is reinforced in practical laboratory setting. A digital radiological laboratory and imaging workstations will allow for hands on, practical and simulated experiential learning.
