HLTH11030 Health Communication

Course details

Communication is pivotal in gaining effective health outcomes as health professionals. Within this course, students will reflect on their own personal communication skills, identifying strengths and weaknesses and ways to improve these skills. They will demonstrate personal, interpersonal and
professional communication skills, including written, oral and non-verbal skills. Learning to establish and maintain effective teams forms an important part of this course, as is explaining and applying the theoretical concepts of communication to its practice. Students will use a range of web-based and other multimedia technologies to demonstrate personal, interpersonal and professional
communication skills.
