NURS11146 Establishment of Professional Nursing

Course details

This course provides the student with the opportunity to demonstrate knowledge and critically reflect on the social, political and economic factors that have influenced the evolution of nursing from the mid 19th century to contemporary time in Australia. Students are also expected to develop to skill to discuss the historical and contemporary image and role of nurses and nursing in society and the health care environment. This course also allows students to develop skills in academic literacy and information literacy.
