BIOL11008 Introduction to Field Biology

Course details

This course provides an introduction to field sampling methods in both terrestrial and aquatic environments. Qualitative and quantitative field data are collected and interpreted. The use, care and maintenance of field equipment are stressed. Safety aspects of field work (including use of small boats, motor vehicles and hygiene procedures) are considered.
